MENTORSHIP PROGRAMMING
In collaboration with local community leaders, we develop free skateboarding workshops for schools and public spaces. Through our skateboard loaner program, participants can borrow equipment at no cost, ensuring equitable access to skateboarding for all.
We are a 100% volunteer operated 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that supports & elevates skateboarding communities worldwide through:
EQUIPMENT DONATION
We provide free skateboarding equipment in communities with limited access. All donations are managed by our local partners and distributed through skateboard loaner programs at skateparks and workshops.
BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE
We manage the construction of international public skateparks from start to finish. This includes:
Coordinating land grants with local governments
Collaborate with skatepark construction companies to create professional skatepark designs
Financing and project-managing the construction of durable, professional concrete skateparks built to last generations
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Our free skateboarding workshops are designed and led by local skateboarders who know their communities best.
We currently support staff who run weekly programs, creating pathways toward a sustainable skateboarding economy.
Founded in 2020 by professional skateboarder Nestor Judkins, Salad Days grew out of years of traveling and connecting with skateboarding communities around the world. Our mission is to promote skateboarding as a vehicle for building community, breaking down barriers of economic inequality and social division, and providing a joyful outlet for self-expression amid the challenges of daily life.
Our Board of Directors is entirely volunteer-based, and Salad Days of Skateboarding operates with no payroll.
